2044 AD. Henry McRyan, a decorated ship captain, journeyed to a distant space colony. Getting trapped in an asteroid field, he decided to put the expedition on pause and protect his ship from incoming debris. He quickly discovers blips on his radar, slowly inching towards his location. Unknown to McRyan, these are DarkStar. A telepathically connected  alien species known for its brutality.
